The Sycamore Club is all about beautiful art for your wall at an affordable price. For each limited edition, we invite a talented emerging artist to create the artwork, then we hand crank each print through our vintage letterpress at Sycamore Street Press.
These prints make great, thoughtful gifts and come in an easy-to-frame 8 x 10" size. They look fantastic hung gallery-style with other prints from the Sycamore Club. Each one is signed and numbered and has the unforgettable texture of letterpress.
Artist Statement:
"This is a drawing of poets who have written great things." -- Jean Richardson
Artist Bio:
"I love things that remind me of youth and gives you a feeling of nostalgia." -- Jamie Tallerico
About the artist:
Born and raised in Oklahoma; Jamie spent most of his youth drawing, and dreaming of places bigger than his beloved home state. Besides Oklahoma (which he wears so proudly on his chest) his loves include: skateboarding, music, film, art, fashion, tattoos and his wife.
He finds writing about himself in the 3rd person weird. Also lefties are a little strange. (not really, but kind of.) I like to joke.

Letterpress is a centuries-old printing process. It involves an inked and raised form being pressed into the paper, creating an impression that you can see and feel. At Sycamore Street Press, we hand crank our goods one sheet of paper and one color at a time through our vintage Vandercook #3 letterpress. We pay close attention to detail, but the hand crafted nature of the process does lead to some variation in color and impression. These are an inherent part of the process, and add to its bespoke charm.
Wholesale and custom inquiries welcome. (Minimum $100 order for first time wholesale buyers. Minimum quantity of 50 for custom orders.)
